Submission Guidelines
Critical Insights is a double-blind, peer-reviewed scholarly journal of the Department of English, Notre Dame University Bangladesh. It is published both in print and online in the Fall of every year. We accept submissions in Studies in Literature, Cultural Studies, ELT, and Applied Linguistics. All submissions should be written in English and must not have been previously published in any other journal. Submissions are welcome from the academic community in Bangladesh and abroad.
Our Editorial Policy
- Manuscripts must follow MLA 9 (Literature & Cultural Studies) and APA 7 (Applied Linguistics & ELT).
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font and double spacing.
- Submit manuscripts with abstracts, main text, figure captions, and references in a Word file.
- Abstracts must be 150–200 words and include five keywords.
- Use American spelling and grammar.
- All notes must appear under a subheading before the Works Cited or Reference page.
- Length of paper: 4000–8000 words. Book Reviews: 1500–2000 words.
